SOOTHING CALAMINE SALVE (BUG BITES & ITCHY SKIN)

A soothing calamine salve that reduces the itch…..

Calamine can be bought as a over the counter medication. This pink ingredient, usually in a lotion, is used to treat itchiness. It has been used to treat all kinds of things including poison ivy, poison oak, chickenpox, swimmer’s itch and bug bites among others.

I’ve combined Calamine with butters to moisturise; Oils that sooth;  Vitamin E and Calendula to heal, as well as Tea Tree and Witch Hazel for antibacterial benefits. This balm will sit on the skin for a little while, soothing bites and stings and relieving the itchiness that will definitely follow.

These salves are made fresh for you each time. Please allow a longer processing time than other products. You will be able to collect 3 days after purchase. We can also post these items, but due to their nature, collection is recommended.

85g  –  Comes in a  Aluminium tin, that can be washed and reused.

This salve (softer version of a balm) is designed for body, hands and face. It is gentle enough for kids over 6 years old as essential oils can irritate skin.

TO GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR SALVE…..

• Due to the heat and humidity in Hong Kong, plus the low wax content, this salve can become soft in the heat. It won’t become liquid, but it will soften. When not in use, keep it in the fridge or in a cool environment to keep the salve firm.
• Balms and Salves don’t have the same shelf life as soap. Keep it in the fridge to extend it’s shelf life. You should use it within 6 months for best results. All of our salves and balms are made fresh for each customer, so you have the full 6 months from the time you receive it.

WARNING

Everyone has different skin and even natural ingredients can irritate the skin. Always do a patch test with any product you put onto your skin. Stop using if any irritation is caused. Do not swallow. Keep out of eyes. If this occurs, rinse well with water. If any problems persist, consult a doctor.
