Why aren’t your products available all of the time?

Soap takes between 1 month and 18 months to cure….. yes it has to cure like a fine wine or cheese. So sometimes the soaps are sitting on my curing racks getting ready for you. But essentially, I have to respect the natural ingredients I use, like when they are in season for example. When they are being over farmed, I won’t use them and of course global issues like a pandemic which stops deliveries.

I have a regular range which I make all of the time to ensure there is always stock. This includes:

HOW AND WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?

Since some of our products don’t travel very well, like softer balms in paper packaging, plus the fact that paper packaging doesn’t like getting wet, we only currently deliver to Hong Kong. If you are an international customer, please contact us with a list of the items you would like and we’ll see if it’s possible to send them.

  • There are 2 pick up points for goods. Times Square in Causeway Bay and Happy Valley. Please arrange a time and day to meet and collect your items via the Contact Us page or by adding a note on your order. We will Whatsapp you to confirm.
  • We sometime attend various markets and events. If you wish to pick up orders on the day of the market, please place your order and confirm 48 hours in advance, so we have time to process your order and bring it with us.
  • Delivery can be sent through SF express, however, posting and additional packaging creates unnecessary waste, so please collect if you can.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Do we ship internationally. YES we do, however, due to the nature of natural products, it’s best to place the order and then whatsapp us on +85291789958 so we can discuss packing, speed and price.

Please note that some products can’t be shipped as they look on screen. The baskets for example don’t contain any fixative or synthetic cling wrap, preventing us from securely holding the products in place. We can however create a presentation box for shipping as a gift.

MY SOAP HAS A SMALL DEFECT. CAN I GET ANOTHER ONE?

All natural made products are slightly different in design and feel. Every bar that I cut from my loaf mold, comes out differently. Natural soap does occasionally have little bubbles and nicks. That is part of buying a hand made natural product. It’s also how you know that it wasn’t made in a factory.

While I do my best to make each bar perfect, not all of them will be. Due to the nature of soap, I can’t accept returns, but know that I would never send out a faulty or badly defected product. Any little imperfections are part of the process.

Also note that one of the soap recipes specifically, Red, Red, Rice is a particularly difficult bar of soap to make and regularly comes with little air pockets. But my customers tell me it’s well worth it!
